Frontier partners with Sunplus to launch performance optimized Wi-Fi / BT / Dolby Atmos / HDMI reference design

Frontier Smart Technologies, the leading supplier of Connected Audio solutions, and Sunplus, the leading supplier of Dolby Atmos / HDMI connectivity solutions, are announcing a new partnership that will bring the benefits of Dolby Atmos and Connected Audio to the mass market.

Combining Dolby Atmos with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE Audio to bring audio features to consumers that include Dolby Atmos, Spotify Connect, AirPlay, Tidal Connect, Auracast, Easy Bluetooth LE setup via Frontier OKTIV app and automatic software updates over the Internet.

Connected Soundbars can be created with a range of Dolby Atmos configurations. A reference platform has been launched and made available to the market.
