MAGIC X: New all-in-one cost optimised Smart Radio solution

Frontier today launches FS2260 Magic X, a next generation SmartRadio (sometimes called hybrid radio) module combining state of the art module design, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, with market-leading Frontier DAB/DAB+ technology offering a comprehensive user-listening experience.

Magic X offers internet radio, podcast, DAB+, FM, Bluetooth, and iOS/Android app control, amongst other features. SmartRadios embedding Magic X will have access to mediaU, Frontier’s extensive internet radio catalogue supporting more than 50,000 radio stations and 2.3 million podcast shows. A unique feature of mediaU is that Podcast episodes are made available within an hour of publication. Magic X has been developed to ensure compliance with upcoming European Cyber Resilience Act, which will protect product manufacturers and end users.
